Vince’s Naxos List

My first year, I used the Naxos service to hear about 150 CDs. At $20/yr, the Naxos Complete Tracks service is an incredible deal. I spent less than $0.13 (yes, thirteen cents) a disc and I didn’t gather a dust-collecting stack of CDs I’m not likely to revisit.
For my second year, I upgraded to the Naxos Music Library (NML). At $15/mo (or 9x more than I was paying), this increases my listening costs. However, after a year of manually clicking on each track to hear it, I’m enjoying being able to play a full CD at a time and build custom playlists. The NML “near CD” compression quality is noticeably better than the Complete Tracks FM-level compression.

Hey Vince! The things you learn from LinkedIn - I never realized how much you like classical music!
In case you’re interested - my stepdaughter, who just graduated from Juilliard as a viola player (well, “graduated” as an undergrad - she starts a master’s program there in the fall) is giving a recital downtown in Toronto on August 9. If you’d like, I’ll forward you the program - just shoot me a note at either my Info-Tech or Hotmail address if you’d like more details, and/or if you know anyone else who might be interested…
Hi Michael,
Thanks for the invite!
