Resources

Here are a few classical music resources:

Classical Net – An exhaustive classical music resource that features reviews, bibliographies, and other helpful information.

Classics Today – A nicely organized collection of reviews of recently released discs.

DG Web Shop – Deutsche Grammophon’s DRM-free Classical Music MP3 store.

John Williams’ Complete Works - A website dedicated to the master of movie soundtracks.

Keeping Score – Music Director Michael Tilson Thomas and the San Francisco Symphony worked with PBS to create a fascinating series. In each episode, viewers explore a piece of music and are taught to interpret the score itself. The web-site offers a chance to watch the score as the music plays and select commentary from Conductor Thomas and various instrumentalists. Very enjoyable!

The Suzuki Method in Action – Video clips of Shinichi Suzuki, himself, teaching at the American Suzuki Institute.
